This high quality mid-range Digital Infrared Thermometer model with Laser guide has a measuring range of -50 to 280° or -58 to 572°F. It can safely measure the surface temperatures of hot, hazardous, reflective, shiny, hard-to-objects, sensitive or liquid based objects with ease.
In addition to temperature and measurement, it also capable of measuring ambient temperatures from 0~40°C (32-104°F).
The 12:1 distance spot size, 8-14µm spectral response and 0.95 preset emissivity completes the major features.
Laser pointer is built-in and can be switched on & off as well as a guide to increase ease and accuracy of aiming for a more precise measurement. Most organic materials and painted or oxidized surfaces have 0.95 emissivity which is preset in this unit. Shiny or polished metal surfaces' temperature can also be measured by this non-contact thermometer.
Just aim and press the trigger button and read the current surface temperature in less than a second. Results along with the other icons showing the type of current operation are displayed in its large LCD. Backlight that can be turned on and off to facilitate easy viewing at night or poorly lighted area or from various angles.
